Little Britain Challenge Cup. 16th - 19th September 2010
The Event The Little Britain Challenge Cup is one of the Europe's largest corporate sailing regattas. It is held for the construction industry and raises a large amount of money for various charities. Since the first event in 1988 the Little Britain Challenge Cup has grown to 250 entries includes more than 3000 competitors, attracting more and more new companies each year.
The Royal Yacht Squadron organises the racing with one start on the Thursday afternoon, followed by 2 races on Friday and Saturday. All yachts are berthed in Cowes for the event where there is a superb social itinerary organised.
Evening Itinerary The usual social itinerary for the evenings is:
Thursday: Champagne reception at the Royal Yacht Squadron, followed by dinner and live music at the Events Centre in Cowes Friday: Buffet dinner, live music and dancing at Cowes Yacht Haven Saturday: Gala Dinner and charity auction, games, live music and dancing
