With structured training delivered by our experienced skippers, yourself and the rest of your crew will be ready to jump on board and take to the sea for some fantastic racing.
Our offshore races generally last a weekend, with some up to 5 or 6 days. You will take your turn on in various positions and on watch to race your yacht to the finish line alongside the rest of your crew.

2 races over 1 weekend selected for team building, communication and stamina testing Designed to last 24-36 hours and with a course of around 130nm, you will start in Cowes and from here will race to Le Havre. From Le Havre you will then sail back to Cowes.

Cowes to Alderney
Race from the Solent to the most northerly and third largest of the Channel Islands, Alderney. This small picturesque island offers a warm welcome after your race, and following an evening ashore you will cruise back to Southampton.

(to Cherbourg)
A Cross Channel race with the added extra of the chance to practice your mark rounding. Designed to last between 24 & 36 hours, takes you from Cowes to Cherbourg via Channel marks.

RORC Cowes – St Malo
This tactical race will see you navigating through the Alderney Race and then through the Minquiers. On your way you will pass through the Channel Islands, and continue on the 164nm course until you reach the beautiful port of St Malo.

RORC Channel Race
This race has it all! Use your tactical skills and knowledge to complete effective downwind and upwind legs, spinnaker hoists and drops whilst making your way round marks in the Solent and further afield.

RORC Cowes - Cherbourg Race
Arrive into the welcoming port of Cherbourg after making your way across the English Channel using your navigational skills to sail through the shipping channel, with plenty to look out for.

You will race across the English Channel overnight to the city of Cherbourg. Arriving in Cherbourg in the early hours you will have the chance to sample the local atmosphere and cuisine for the day before jumping back on board to sail back to Southampton.
