Our Race Training weekends place emphasis on training and coaching in the specific skills needed on board a racing yacht. You will spend 2 days with a qualified and experienced skipper taking you through the skills and drills necessary to make you a proficient member of race crew.
Once you have mastered skills such as efficient tacks, gybes and sail trim, you will concentrate on manoeuvres including spinnaker hoists and drops. You will discuss race tactics and navigation and look at the various positions on board and the jobs they do.
